Don will show you how to turn a Christmas tree ornament and decorate it with
InLace, an easy-to-use inlay material that can add color and texture to your turnings.
InLace looks like crushed stone and is available in a variety of colors. By using
InLace to fill grooves, holes, or cracks, you can give your turnings a unique look.

No prior boat-building experience is required! You and your classmates will build a
good-looking, flat-bottomed, Karl Stambaugh-designed Bay Skiff 15, while you learn
basic woodworking skills and explore the theories behind boat construction. The skiff’s
construction techniques will combine traditional methods and modified glue-andscrew
construction, and Bill will discuss small-craft design, selecting suitable projects,
setting up your shop, and the proper use of hand and power tools. This class will give
you the boatbuilding skills that you’ll need if you want to build a boat of your own.
